The Brain-Voice Connection is the new name for Voice Success. Voice Success was founded by Anna Bernstein in New York City in 1997. Anna moved to Seattle in 2003, and launched The Brain-Voice Connection in September 2007. Anna's passion for improving the voices and communication style of professionals arose from her career as a singing coach in New York City. A businessman approached her and told her he was getting talked over in meetings and was concerned about his career prospects. Could she help him? Anna realized she could adapt her singing techniques to the speaking voice, combining them with neuroscience research of how the brain influences the voice and our language choices. She added her business acumen from several years in the corporate world, and a unique business was born.
